2014 Fishing Season Recap

Fishing_Lights-VP I hope everyone has had a chance to enjoy the great outdoors in 2014. We’ve had some marvelous night reports from the Gulf Coast this year. Last year and the year before last, we had some excellent opportunities to travel around the Texas coast for night fishing in many bays and coastal hot spots. Salt Water fishing has been great this year. There have been many reports of successful offshore fishing trips for several species including, but not limited to, Red Snapper, Yellow and Black Fin Tuna as well as Amberjack. The bays of the Gulf Coast have also been excellent. Trout and Redfish have been "turned on" with the higher water temperature. We caught a lot of Black Drum, Trout, Flounder and Crabs in Eastern Louisiana in late October last year. In Galveston this October, we were surprised by some great results for Redfish and Black Drum. For those of you already using Green Fishinglights, you know how enjoyable night fishing can be. Kicking back in the evening on your boat, or around the dock, beverage in hand, with family and friends watching the bait swarm in the gentle green glow of the fishing lights, you know all is well. Using the lights around your dock really improves the ambiance. They have a very soothing effect. Even the non-fishing observers will enjoy the event. It just doesn’t get any better! For 2015 we continue with our two styles of LED lights - the Pro24-LED-WW and the Pro48-LED-WW. Be sure and check them out!. We have worked hard to keep our prices steady. We've received phone calls from a number of night-fishing enthusiasts who have purchased lights from some of our competitors, and had problems. As they say, "Caveat Emptor" - Buyer Beware! Poor construction, leaking seals, rusting power clips, electronics failures, and other problems seem to be showing up all over. We strive to make the BEST lights available. You won't be disappointed. Check the specs carefully before you buy. WATCH OUT FOR THE IMPORTS! They may cost less, but as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." We have FREE USPS Priority Mail shipping to continental USA, but unfortunately we regret that we can no longer ship to Hawaii, Alaska, other USA territories, or international destinations. Postage is too expensive and there were too many lost and damaged lights. You MUST provide a continental USA address to place an order. If you are new to night fishing, check out Pro24-LED-WW. It is a sealed unit that we first introduced three years ago, and comes with a 20-foot power cord. We would love to have you e-mail us your Night Fishing stories and results. Also e-mail your Night Fishing pictures. We enjoy showing them on the site. If you have any questions we will do our best to get you an answer as quickly as possible. When night fishing, remember SAFETY FIRST! Check the weather before leaving port and know the area. Things look a lot different when the sun goes down. Tight lines to all and enjoy the 2015 fishing Season! John Ross, V.P. Sales The Fishinglights Company LLC
